A vertically operating auger system ensures grinding and cutting of round and square bales thanks to the custom alloyed and custom-designed knives on it and mixing them homogenously with other rough and thick feed. This special design required much lower power with the durable transmission box system used. Cut the time it takes to feed high-quality silage with the HLA Bale Knife. With the increasing demand for high nutrient silage, wrapped bales have found their place in many farmyards. Feeding silage bales requires the removal of both the plastic film and net wrap. Removing these coverings can cause bales to fall apart and make for clumsy handling of nutrient-rich feed. Designed specifically for feeding round bales, the HLA Bale Knife rolls a lot of functionality into a single unit saving time and effort. 

To prevent the wrap and netting from falling into the feeder or mixer, the proprietary system grabs the wrap and bale netting holding it securely, as the bale is sliced with the powerful serrated blade and drops free. The grabber is automatically engaged when the knife is activated through a single hydraulic auxiliary ensuring you have a tight grip before you finish slicing. The upward slicing design allows for bales to be sliced not only into feeders and mixers but also a mere 6 above the ground, making it ideal for operation in tight areas with little overhead space. The integrated Kverneland tines allow you to spear or scoop the bale and hold it in place with the knife to safely move it across the yard, making the HLA Bale Knife an all-in-one solution for bale handling.

Proprietary Grabber: Located at the top of the Bale Knife is the proprietary grabber that hydraulically holds onto the wrap and netting so when the knife slices upwards into the bale, the hay falls down and away, separating the wrap and netting from the feed.

Single Hydraulic Valve: Sharing a single hydraulic valve, both the pincher and cutting arm operate at the same time ensuring you have a tight grip on your bale before you start slicing. The new bolt-on knives allow for easy replacement of a single knife without needing to replace the entire row

Integrated Kverneland Tines: Equipped with Kverneland tines and a serrated blade, the Bale Knife is an all-in-one solution for bale handling. Use the tines to spear a bale, or scoop the bale onto the tines and hold it with the knife to safely move it across the yard.

2024 HLA ATTACHMENTS LA-BK60LF BALE SHEAR

The SELECT T-YYK cultivator is a secondary tillage tool for tilling the soil without turning it over. It attaches to the tractor via 3 point linkage and uses 9, 11 or 13 spring-loaded tines for tilling in fields or orchards and to prepare seedbeds.

In arable lands, they are used for tillage at the required depth to provide soil aeration/pulverisation and for preparing the soil before sowing by uprooting weeds for fertiliser and preparing seedbeds, which means the application of herbicides is also reduced.
